Facilities
Merrion's operational facilities are designed to provide state of the art facilities for the development of Merrion's GIPET™ and GIRES™ technologies and for the rapid and effective development of new products from concept to final formulation. Merrion's R&D and manufacturing facilities are based at Trinity College, Dublin.
Merrion's formulation capabilities allow the in-house development of solid dose tablet and capsule formulations, as well as licensed manufacturing facilities for Phase I/II clinical trials. This facilitates the rapid development of new products to the crucial ‘proof of concept' stage.

Merrion's analytical science laboratories are equipped and licensed to perform key analyses and characterisation of Merrion formulations, as well as stability and release testing for clinical trial materials. Specifically this includes:
- Providing support for formulation development
- Developing and validating test methods
- Releasing clinical trial material
- Running stability programmes to support shelf life of clinical trial material
