This position requires a highly-motivated person with a pro-active ‘can do attitude', as well as an aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting in a R&D project environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to succeed and be able to work to challenging timelines.
The individual will work as part of a cross functional team but should also be able to work independently. The candidate should be able to take responsibility for their own work, interpret findings and report back to the team. The position requires a person who is flexible and enjoys working with a steep learning curve.
PhD or MSc in Analytical Chemistry, with a minimum of one year relevant experience or Honours Degree in Analytical Chemistry (or Chemistry) coupled with significant relevant work experience.
